LSEG Workspace (the platform formerly known as Refinitiv Eikon) is Bloomberg’s main rival — comparable breadth of markets, news, and analytics, often at a lower price, with particular strengths in FX, fixed income, and the I/B/E/S estimates history. Reuters news is a genuine draw. The trade-offs are a learning curve and an interface that has churned through rebrands. For research, its deep deals and ownership data are the standouts.
