Our Take

SocArXiv gives the social sciences a dedicated open preprint venue, extending the preprint model into fields — sociology, political science, and neighbors — that traditionally circulated working papers more slowly than economics did on SSRN. For early social-science signal outside economics it’s a valuable complement. Unreviewed-content caveats apply. Use it to catch early social-science work beyond the SSRN/RePEc economics orbit; verify against the published version.
